UFC 300 Full Fight Card: Three titles are on the line

After one of the most intensely debated announcements in recent memory, the main event of UFC 300 was confirmed as Alex Pereira defending his light heavyweight belt against former king Jamahal Hill.

Pereira bounced back from losing his middleweight title at the start of 2023 with a split decision win over Jan Blachowicz and a vicious KO victory over Jiri Prochazka to claim the light heavyweight belt in November.

It’s a belt that Hill never technically lost, instead vacating the title due to injury – his last appearance in the UFC octagon was the five-round battle against Pereira’s friend and teammate Glover Teixeira, back in January 2023.

It’s an all-Chinese affair in the co-main event of the evening with Zhang Weili set to defend her strawweight world championship against fellow Asian star Yan Xiaonan.

Weili bounced back from back-to-back defeats to Rose Namajunas in 2021 with three straight victories, including finishes of former champs Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Carla Esparza (to regain the title), and a dominant decision win over Amanda Lemos in her last outing.

Xiaonan meanwhile is riding a two-fight win streak which includes an impressive decision win over Mackenzie Dern and a brutal KO of former champ Jessica Andrade in 2023.

The BMF title is also up for grabs once again with Justin Gaethje set to take on Max Holloway in what many are expecting to be a hard five-round war.

Both fighters enter UFC 300 on the backs of two-fight winning streaks; Gaethje won a decision over Rafael Fiziev and KO’d Dustin Poirier in 2023, whilst Holloway went to the scorecards against Arnold Allen before finishing Chan Sung Jung later in the year.

Fan favorite Charles Oliveira is back in action and is set to face rising contender Arman Tsarukyan, both of whom will be looking to steal the headlines from the BMF title fight ahead of a potential matchup against Islam Makhachev.

Bo Nickal aims to keep his hype train steaming forward against veteran Cody Brundage, with veteran Calvin Kattar set to welcome former bantamweight champ Aljamain Sterling to the 145lbs division.

Looking further down the card, superb fight follows superb fight with a slew of former champions and rising contenders set to grace the octagon in the build-up to the PPV showcase.

Jiri Prochazka also competes against fellow European juggernaut Aleksandar Rakic, whilst two former kings of their respective divisions will come to blows when Deiveson Figueiredo faces Cody Garbrandt.

We’ll also get to see Kayla Harrison in the UFC for the first time when she competes against ex-champion Holly Holm, with the iconic Jim Miller set to battle it out against fellow veteran Bobby Green.

The full card, as currently confirmed by the UFC, includes the following fights:

The bout order has already seen its fair share of controversy, with Nickal vs Brundage having previously been scheduled to be above Oliveira vs Tsarukyan – the official page for UFC 300 has since been changed to the former lightweight champion being ahead.

Where is UFC 300 taking place, and how to get tickets

UFC 300 is scheduled to take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Tickets went on sale on February 23 and are available to purchase via axs.com.

At the time of writing, the upper tiers have already been sold out, and the remaining tickets are priced at $1,500.

The T-Mobile Arena has hosted 27 UFC events over the years, including four times last year for UFC 296: Edwards vs Covington, UFC Fight Night: Grasso vs Shevchenko 2, UFC 290: Volkanovski vs Rodriguez, and UFC 285: Jones vs Gane.

The arena first hosted a UFC event back in 2016 for UFC 200: Tate vs Nunes.

Early Predictions – Favorites to win and underdog upsets

With UFC 300 now on the horizon, many fans will be looking at where they’ll put their money down and according to DraftKings Sportsbook, the official betting partner of the UFC, there are some decidedly close lines to choose from.

Pereira, Gaethje, and Weili are all sizable favorites at the time of writing and could make for a ‘chalky’ parlay piece, with the largest underdog out of the three title bouts being Yan Xiaonan.

Former champion Charles Oliveira is an underdog in his matchup against Tsarukyan, as is ex-champ Jiri Prochazka for his fight against Aleksandar Rakic, both of whom will have the raucous support of the T-Mobile crowd behind them.

Elsewhere on the card, Sterling vs Kattar is a near pick-‘em, Bo Nickal is the biggest favorite on the card vs Brundage, with debutant Kayla Harrison also coming in as a sizable favorite for her clash against Holly Holm.

Whilst UFC 300 may be dominated by veterans of the promotion and rising contenders, there is one athlete who is set to make her UFC debut at the anniversary event: none other than Kayla Harrison.

The two-time Olympic gold medallist was one of the most dominant female forces of the PFL organization, earning multiple world championships and going 16-1 in the process.

The only concern is whether Harrison can successfully cut weight to make 135 lbs in a healthy manner, with much of her career spent at featherweight – and her last outing in the PFL being a catchweight bout at 150 lbs.

Luckily, Harrison has recently shared that she’s in a good place both mentally and physically ahead of the dreaded weight cut.
