Renato Moicano has given his honest opinion of how he sees the UFC 300 fight between Charles Oliveira and Arman Tsarukyan going.
‘Money’ Moicano trains at American Top Team in Florida, with a plethora of other top lightweight contenders. One of which is Arman Tsarukyan, who takes on former 155lb champion, Charles Oliveira at UFC 300.
The 34-year-old has recently had his own UFC 300 fight announced, as he is scheduled to fight Jalin Turner. With that, Moicano and Tsarukyan will be helping each other in the preparation for their April 13th fights.
Moicano’s last fight came against Drew Dober at the UFC Apex in February, and the Brazilian came out victorious with a unanimous decision victory.
Tsarukyan on the other hand fought last in December, beating veteran Beneil Dariush in what was only his second time as an event headliner. Following the impressive win, the 27-year-old put himself just one step away from a title fight with Islam Makhachev.

Renato Moicano gives an honest opinion of Oliveira vs Tsarukyan
Despite Moicano preparing to train with ‘Ahalkalakets’, he has given his honest opinion of how he sees that fight playing out, admitting he believes Oliveira has the ‘edge’.
He told The Schmo in an interview: “This is the problem being at ATT, we’ve been here for three minutes and I’ve already seen Tsarukyan, Grant Dawson, and then Thiago Moises, so the lightweight (division) is crowded here.
“Talking about Tsarukyan and Oliveira, I think that’s a great fight, in my opinion, that’s one of the best fights to be announced at UFC 300 and I think it’s going to be a tough fight for both, and I will be honest, and that’s tough for me because I will even help Tsarukyan for the fight.”

“Do Bronx” was originally scheduled to rematch Islam Makhachev for the lightweight title in October last year, but the Brazilian had to withdraw from the fight after sustaining a cut during training.
Moicano believes the 34-year-old has the edge because he is a little bit bigger and more ‘explosive’ than his opponent, Tsarukyan.
“I think it’s a tough fight for him (Tsarukyan) to be honest. Completely honest with you I think Charles in the fight has a little bit of an edge and that’s tough the guy (Tsarukyan) was walking around right here, but I have to tell you what I see.
“I think it’s going to be a good fight and both guys have a chance to win I just feel Charles (Oliveira) is a little bit bigger and more explosive.” Moicano added.
