Dana White has confirmed UFC 299 has a ticket sale gate of $13.75 million, making it the fourth biggest gate in the promotion’s history.
Speaking to a raucous crowd in Miami at the UFC 299 pre-fight press conference, Dana White confirmed that this weekend’s PPV is set to generate almost $14 million at the Kaseya Center turnstiles.
If this reported figure of $13.75 million is correct, it would make UFC 299 the fourth-biggest gate in UFC history, with each of the three events ahead in the record books unsurprisingly including Conor McGregor.

UFC 299 is already entering the record books with ticket sales
We are about 24 hours away from the doors opening at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, for UFC 299 and already the PPV event is entering the record books.
During the pre-fight press conference, White confirmed that the UFC is set to generate an astonishing amount of money this weekend from ticket sales alone:
“Saturday night, $13.75 million gate – we broke our record from last time, the highest gate ever in the arena’s history. Miami, you are awesome!”
Ahead of UFC 299 this weekend, the top 5 biggest gates in UFC history are:
- UFC 205: Alvarez vs McGregor (2016), Madison Square Garden – $17.7 million
- UFC 229: Nurmagomedov vs McGregor (2018), T-Mobile Arena – $17.2 million
- UFC 264: Poirier vs McGregor 3 (2021), T-Mobile Arena – $15.7 million
- UFC 295: Prochazka vs Pereira (2023), Madison Square Garden – $12.4 million
- UFC 285: Jones vs Gane (2023), T-Mobile Arena – $12.1 million
The crowd erupted in cheers as Dana White had to shout to have his voice heard, “I’m literally standing here watching one of the most electric press conferences of all time!”
The Kaseya Center has a capacity of 19,600 and is home to the Miami Heat NBA team, having only hosted one UFC event before, Pereira vs Adesanya 2 last year. Despite the $13.75 million gate, tickets for UFC 299 are still available on Ticketmaster.
Whilst this outstanding jackpot is certainly one to be celebrated, it’s worth noting that four of the next six UFC events will be held at the Apex in Las Vegas where ticket gates are at their lowest.
UFC 299 takes place on Saturday, March 9 – you can read a full preview of the PPV event here.
