Oleksandr Usyk vs. Daniel Dubois: Fight card, start time, live streams

Preview

The undefeated Oleksandr Usyk fights tonight, defending his WBA, WBO and IBF heavyweight titles against Daniel Dubois. This is Usyk’s first fight since defending those belts in an immediate rematch versus Anthony Joshua last August.

After beating Joshua, many had hoped that Usyk would face WBC champ Tyson Fury in an undisputed heavyweight fights, but it seems that just wasn’t in the cards. Fury is of course gearing up to fight Francis Ngannou in a few months.

Instead of Fury, Usyk now faces a mandatory challenger in the form of Dubois. He’s no scrub, though. Dubois is 19-1 with 18 KOs. His only blemish is a 10th round KO to Joe Joyce in 2020. We last saw Dubois obliterating Kevin Lerena on the Fury vs. Chisora 3 undercard in December.

The pick of the undercard fights is Denys Berinchyk vs. Anthony Yigit. Berinchyk, who retained the WBO International lightweight title and won the European lightweight title on that same Fury vs. Chisora card is now 17-0. The former Olympic silver medallist is also known for beating the brakes off Artem Lobov in bare knuckle competition.
