Preview

The PFL playoffs continue tonight with PFL 9. Tonight’s card has the welterweights and lightweights vying for a spot in the million dollar finals. On the lightweight side of the bracket there’s PFL’s other big signing, Shane Burgos, versus Clay Collard. The opposite side of the bracket is former PFL champ Olivier Aubin-Mercier vs. Bruno Miranda.

The welterweight bracket has Carlos Leal vs. Sadibou Sy and Magomed Magomedkerimov vs. Solomon Renfro.

Also on the card is Muhammad Ali’s grandson, Biaggio Ali Walsh. He fights Ed Davis in the lightweight division. Deeper down the card is Abigail Montes, who defeated Claressa Shields in MMA action. She fights Michelle Montague.

PFL 8 goes down on Friday, August 18, 2023. The prelims begin at 6:30 p.m. ET and the main card goes live at 9 p.m. ET.

This event will be broadcast on ESPN+. The main card is to be shown on ESPN+ and ESPN.
