While most of their events have been at the UFC Apex in recent years, the promotion will be back to flying out internationally soon with a string of events in three weeks happening in three different countries. They’ll have UFC Fight Night events on August 26 in Singapore then September 2 in Paris, France and finally a pay-per-view event UFC 293 in Sydney, Australia.

Main events for two of those international events have since been made official, along with the date for the Road to UFC Season 2 semi-finals.

Max Holloway vs. Korean Zombie, Road to UFC semis set for Singapore

With deals from the Singapore Tourism Board and other local sponsors, UFC has finalized a return to the Singapore Indoor Stadium on August 26. Headlining the event will be a featherweight tilt between longtime champion Max Holloway and perennial fan favorite “Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung.

The event will happen at the local prime time, which means MMA fans in the US will have some early morning fights.

On August 27, a day after the event, the semi-final rounds for Road to UFC Season 2 will also take place in the same venue, providing added fights and value for fans in the region.

Holloway is coming off a win last April, where he derailed yet another featherweight contender in Arnold Allen. Jung, on the other hand, hasn’t fought since losing his title shot against Alexander Volkanovski in 2022.

Road to UFC’s opening rounds kicked off last May in Shanghai, producing some wild highlight reel finishes and fighters advancing in the four tournaments.

Ciryl Gane vs. Serghei Spivac set for Paris, France

A week after the Singapore event, the promotion travels back to the Accor Arena in Paris for their second event in France. Headlining the September 2 fight card is a heavyweight tilt between French striker Ciryl Gane and Serghei Spivac.

Gane is coming off a lopsided loss to Jon Jones, where they fought for the heavyweight belt that Francis Ngannou vacated. Gane’s last victory was over Tai Tuivasa, during the promotion’s inaugural event in France in 2022. Spivac, currently ranked 8th at heavyweight, is on a three fight winning streak with finishes over Derrick Lewis, Augusto Sakai and Greg Hardy.

No other bouts have been confirmed for either card as of this writing.
