UFC Fight Night: Dern vs. Hill (also known as UFC Vegas 73) is headed back to Las Vegas, NV this Saturday (May 20th) and will be headlined by the company’s #8 rated strawweight, Mackenzie Dern, squaring off with the #14 rated, Angela Hill. The original main event was Raquel Pennington vs. Irene Aldana, but Aldana was rebooked to face Amanda Nunes.
This matchup was supposed to take place this past weekend on the UFC Fight Night: Rozenstruik vs. Almeida card in Charlotte, NC but it was rescheduled to this week’s event to replace the main event. There’s been a lot of shuffling of the fight card’s happening lately, but the show must go on.
The co-main event for the evening involves a battle of strikers in the middleweight division when Edmen Shahbazyan tangles with Anthony Hernandez. Shahbazyan has won one of his last four, while Hernandez is on a three-fight wining streak. This one should be a lot of fun!
The entire event goes down at the APEX facility.
