Matt Brown was one of five post-fight bonus winners after UFC on ABC 4 this Saturday.

Matt Brown, Ian Machado Garry get highlight-reel finishes at UFC on ABC 4

Performance of the Night: Matt Brown tied the official record for most knockouts in UFC history (13) with a first-round finish of Court McGee. The ‘Immortal’ sent McGee to the canvas with a right hand. The ‘Crusher’ was not getting up again, and referee Dan Miragliotta waived off the fight. During his post-fight interview with Daniel Cormier, the UFC veteran said he would return to (hopefully) go for his 14th knockout. Sounds good!

Performance of the Night: Carlos Ulberg earned another first-round finish, this time against Ihor Potieria. As the Contender Series alum shot in for a takedown, the ‘Black Jag’ caught him with a left hook. Potieria went down, and Ulberg followed up with some ground-and-pound until he thought his opponent out. That was his fourth consecutive win since losing to Kennedy Nzechukwu in his UFC debut.

Performance of the Night: Ian Machado Garry did Ian Machado Garry things. The ‘Future’ gave us another highlight-reel finish, dropping  Daniel Rodriguez with a head kick and follow-up punches until referee Dan Miragliotta saw enough. Given ‘D-Rod’ was ranked No. 15, it is safe to say that Machado Garry has usurped his spot in the official UFC rankings. And with that, the Irish fighter said he wanted to go after the ‘gatekeeper’ of the division, Neil Magny. The ‘Haitian Sensation’ has his next fight scheduled, but perhaps he can revisit Machado Garry.

Performance of the Night: Jailton Almeida submitted Jairzinho Rozenstruik in the first round of their fight! ‘Malhadinho’ got ‘Bigi Boy’ to the ground immediately, moving into mount and punching his way into the rear-naked choke. Rozenstruik was forced to tap, losing by submission for the first time in his professional career. As for Almeida, the win almost certainly secures his spot in the top 10 of the heavyweight division. Who does the Brazilian want next? ‘Another challenge’ by the name of Tai Tuivasa.

Performance of the Night: Despite missing weight for his fight against Gabe Green, Ultimate Fighter winner Bryan Battle was given a ‘POTN’ bonus for his 14-second KO. It was the sixth fastest finish in UFC welterweight history, so when UFC president Dana White was asked about it during his post-fight press conference, he opted to give Battle a bonus.

Fight of the Night: No FOTN
