UFC Fight Night: Rozenstruik vs. Almeida, also known as UFC on ABC 4, just went down from the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Hometown fighter, and TUF Season 29 winner, Bryan Battle pulled off the sixth fastest knockout in UFC history when slept Gabe Green in a mere 14-seconds.
Green started out aggressive, backing up Battle to the cage behind a frenzied barrage. With nowhere else to go, Bryan chose to bite down on his mouthpiece and return fire. The flurry of Gabe was not letting up, but Battle connected with a flush right hook that put Green out cold.
Battle stormed off and roared around the Octagon in front of his friends and family. Then as Bruce Buffer was announcing him as the victor, Bryan broke down in tears in what felt like a cathartic moment or someone who was bouncing back from a bad loss. On the mic, Battle expressed his love for Charlotte, and received one of the biggest pops from the crowd all night.
