UFC Fight Night results video: Almeida quickly subs Rozenstruik in 1

UFC Fight Night: Rozenstruik vs. Almeida, also known as UFC on ABC 4, just finished up from the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. The top of the billing witnessed ranked heavyweights go at it and the UFC’s #12 rated, Jailton Almeida, just submitted the #9 rated, Jairzinho Rozenstruik, in the opening round.

It didn’t take very long for Almeida to get the fight to the ground. Once there, there was very little that Rozenstruik could do. Almeida worked his way into the full mount, and rained down punishment until Rozenstruik gave up his back. The rear-naked choke followed, and Jairzinho was tapping out.

Almeida shot in right away for a takedown, but Rozenstruik shucked it off to remain on his feet… at least at first. The second takedown attempt from Almeida worked, and Rozenstruik found himself staring up at the lights in the middle of the Octagon. Jailton methodically improved his position until he reached the full mount, and then he postured up and began dropping hammers.
