YouTubers Wings of Redemption and Boogie2988 exchanged some fast food-related insults during their final face-off at the official weigh-ins for MF & DAZN: X Series 007 on Friday.
Billed as the ‘heaviest influencer boxing fight of all time,’ Wings of Redemption and Boogie2988 weighed in at 404.3 and 391. 6 pounds, respectively, nearly 800 pounds for their fight. After they stepped off the scales, the pair of Happy Punch Promotion fighters faced off, which led to this exchange:
“You look extra rotund today, bud,” said Wings of Redemption.
“404, good lord! You put on some weight,” responded Boogie2988. “What was it? The McDonald’s you had in England? How many Pepsis you had since you landed? They ain’t go Wendy’s over here, so I know you ain’t eating chili.”
“If you actually trained, you would have put some muscle on, too,” retorted Wings of Redemption. “Sorry about that.”
After examining their physiques, the host of the official weigh-ins delivered this line: “You guys don’t want to know how bad it smells up here. I’m just going to say that.”
Alright then.
Wings of Redemption vs. Boogie2988 is set for three, one-and-a-half minute rounds.
Headliners KSI, Joe Fournier get heated (again) at weigh-ins
Headliners KSI and Joe Fournier successfully weighed in for their upcoming fight that headlines MF & DAZN: X Series 007 on Saturday. The YouTuber tipped the scales at 177.6 pounds, while the ‘Badass Billionaire’ came in at 179.5 pounds. As expected, the pair came face-to-face and got heated.
In their final face-off, KSI and Fournier promised to win via knockout.
“He’s afraid, trying to make a scene, but he’s going to get smacked up tomorrow in front of all his little fans,” said Fournier. “[My motivation] is to knock him the f—k out tomorrow, plain and simple. He’s getting put to sleep in front of his little fans. In front of 15,000 of his fans he’s going to be put to sleep.”
For KSI, he was unfazed by Fournier and promised a ‘different KSI’ in the ring.
“Joe Fournier cannot do anything to me,” said KSI. “Joe Fournier cannot knock me out. It’s not going to happen. For me, I’m going to go over and take his soul and add another stone to my gauntlet. Add another Infinity Stone to my gauntlet, and I’m going to knock him out and then move on to the next and the next and the next.
“Ladies and gentlemen, I can never be defeated. No one can ever defeat me. Whether it’s Tommy Fury, whether it’s Jake Paul, whether it’s this piece of s—t Joe Fournier, I will reign victorious every single time.”
