This was Roy Nelson’s first fight without gloves. This was Nelson’s first fight since leaving Bellator in 2020. Nelson ended his Bellator tenure on the back of five straight losses. His last win in the Bellator cage with a unanimous decision over Javy Ayala in 2017.
