UFC Vegas 72: Song vs. Simón is staying in Las Vegas, Nevada this Saturday (April 29th), for the second consecutive week with an earlier than usual start time. The event’s featured matchup involves top-10 bantamweights Yadong Song and Ricky Simón. The #8 rated Song and the #10 rated Simón were supposed to go at it in last week’s co-main event, but their bout was moved to this week after this weekend’s original main event, Renato Moicano vs. Arman Tsarukyan, fell through following a Moicano injury.

The co-main event for UFC Vegas 72 will be a potentially explosive middleweight matchup between Caio Borralho and Michał Oleksiejczuk. Borralho has won all-three of his UFC fights, and Oleksiejczuk has found success in both of his bouts down at 185-pounds. The winner of this one just might be making a push towards the rankings. The prelims lost a bantamweight bout between Brian Kelleher and Journey Newson, after the UFC pulling Kelleher for unspecified reasons. Stepping in for Brian will be the explosive Marcus McGhee, who will be making his promotional debut against Newson at 140-pounds.

The entire event goes down at the UFC Apex facility.
