MMA SQUARED: Predicting the future UFC Heavyweight champ (it’s not Jon Jones)

Jon Jones’ potential presence made this weekend’s heavyweight main event a lot more meaningful.

Sergei Pavlovich punches his ticket to the Jon Jones Fantasy Matchmaking sweepstakes.

Head over to the substack for a cool Bobby Green vs Rafael Fiziev drawing in the “Fights to Make” column. As for ol’ Sergei, do you think that his strategy of waiting for Jon Jones to fight Stipe Miocic is a sound career choice? I suppose there’s no harm in that if he can remain available as a backup fighter, but the idea that Jones is going to hang around heavyweight, taking on all challengers sounds? I think that train has left the station. Take care of yourself and check in tomorrow for an extra special bonus MMA Squared.
