Davis vs Garcia video: Watch Gervonta Davis stop Ryan Garcia with perfect body shot in round 7

This weekend’s big-name ‘sweet science’ scrap witnessed Gervonta Davis stopped Ryan Garcia at 1:44 of the seventh round. Garcia put up some resistance, but the night belonged to the one they call ‘Tank.’ Davis improves his spotless record to 29-0, with 27 knockouts to boot.

Garcia started to pressure in the second stanza, but a a stellar left hand counter from Tank dropped him to negate his progress. It wasn’t until the sixth round that Garcia started to open up a again, but Davis was right there to match his output. The finish came in the seventh frame when Tank blasted Garcia with a left hand to the body, and after a small delay, Ryan went down and stayed down.

Round 7: Tank points out something loose on Garcia’s glove, but the ref is happy. Big right hand landed by Garcia, Tank holds. He smiles, but he felt that. Garcia looking to circle on the outside now. He’s a little nervous because both hands are power hands, essentially, but he’s doing it well. Lands a good left, but Garcia finds something in return. And as Garcia lands a left hook, Garcia drops him with a bodyshot! And it’s over! Garcia can’t continue!
