The MF & DAZN: X Series 006 main event was the setting where former NFL star Le’Veon Bell picked up a unanimous decision over YouTube sensation JMX. High-level boxing it was not, but it was still high-effort from two fighters who have clearly put in some time learning how to box. JMX started strong, but the athleticism of Bell proved to be too much.

Check out our description of the fight:

JMX took the center of the ring, while Bell played the outside. Bell was leaning rather far into each strike he threw, showing off his lack of experience. It’s not like the social media influencer looked like a world beater or anything, but he had far more composure than Bell at first. As the round went on, Bell began connecting with his wild right hand, and then had a nice flurry just before the bell.

Bell connected with a haymaker at the start of the second round that dropped the YouTuber, but the referee ruled it a slip. It’s amazing how much more comfortable Le’Veon looked in the second round, and now the output of his opponent all but dried up. The referee paused the match for a low blow delivered by Bell, and then also brought in a doctor to check on a cut around the eye of the fouled fighter.

From there, the bout kept drifting into the clinch, and was getting a bit testy. When Bell finally got some space, he started to dance circles around his opponent while landing a series of right crosses. JMX dug deep and began swinging back, and managed to land a couple of quality shots before the match came to a close.
