Billy Quarantillo and Matheus Nicolau were two of three fighters who received lengthy medical suspensions after their losses at UFC Fight Night: Holloway vs. Allen this past Saturday.
Quarantillo suffered a first-round KO loss to Edson Barboza in their featherweight fight, which ended after the latter sent the former to the canvas with a knee to the chin. A few fights earlier, Nicolau also lost via first-round KO, after fellow UFC flyweight contender Brandon Royval slept him with a knee followed by a flurry of punches and elbows.
