Davis and Garcia make a bet
During an Instagram live on Monday, Gervonta Davis and streamer Kai Cenat were joined by Ryan Garcia. After sharing some words, Davis and Cenat proposed a bet, which led to this exchange:
“What do you want to bet?,” asked Garcia.
“The whole thing,” responded Davis and Cenat.
“Everything is already on the line,” said Garcia. “Let’s go.”
“No, [bet] the whole purse,” responded Davis.
“I just did,” quipped Garcia.
This went on for a few seconds before Davis asked Garcia again about their bet. This time, ‘King’ went further, telling Davis that they should sign a contract that states they indeed agree to wager their entire purses on the fight. It appeared as though Davis contacted someone on his team to get Al Haymon — his representative — to ‘write up’ the contract.
Their exchange ended, and ‘Tank’ went after Garcia over getting ‘stopped’ in an alleged sparring incident recently.

What have Davis, Garcia done recently?
Whether Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia follow through on their bet remains to be seen, but it is a fun addition to their highly anticipated fight. It is contested at a catchweight, so Davis’ lightweight title is not on the line.
In their most recent appearances, the undefeated upstarts have earned finishes. Davis retained his WBA (Regular) lightweight title with an eight-round TKO of Héctor Garcia this past January. And Garcia added a former titleholder in Javier Fortuna to his résumé with a sixth-round KO.
