UFC featherweight Bryce Mitchell has been adamant about his flat Earth beliefs. “Thug Nasty” even challenged Joe Rogan to a debate and vowed to “smoke” the UFC analyst in the said discussion.

In fact, Mitchell’s stance has become so outspoken, that it landed him a spot in an upcoming flat Earth documentary. The Ultimate Fighter alum posted the trailer on his Instagram page, which also features submission grappling innovator Eddie Bravo

“hey yall!! im n a flat earth film it comes out n a week,” Mitchell wrote in the caption. “its another @hibbeler_productions masterpiece. if yall don’t kno (sic) by now, nasa is fraudulent. theyre evil. thats y their logo is the tounge (sic) of a snake.

“They make up lies like big bang and moon landins cause the elites dont want u to worship God! if ur interested check out the film next week. if not, just do ur own research. true research will lead u rite (sic) back to Jesus like it did me!!!”

Bryce Mitchell’s history of conspiracy theory

The 28-year-old Mitchell is no stranger to wild conspiracy theories. At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, he blamed the government for creating the virus.

“I think the coronavirus was made by the government. I think the good government made the damn virus. I think that they infected the people on purpose to cause some type of chaos. There’s some people making good money and stuff,” he said.

Later that year, Mitchell also criticized Arkansas governor Asa Hutchinson for implementing COVID-19 mandates in his home state.

“If he likes shutting down people’s businesses and telling people what to do, he can go to California because they’ll love him over there.”

Following UFC 284, Mitchell claimed the the lightweight title fight between Islam Makhachev and Alexander Volkanovski had been “rigged” by “Middle Eastern money.”

“I KNOW Alexander Volkanovski won a decision,” Mitchell explained as the basis for his theory. “I don’t think nothing. I know he won, and I know that shit was rigged. And I’m not f—ng stupid. You can’t tell me that shit wasn’t rigged. I’m not buying it.

“You can pay them judges whatever the f-ck you want to pay them. I KNOW Alexander Volkanovski won that fight.”

Bryce Mitchell gets new opponent for UFC 288

Mitchell will be part of UFC 288, which takes place on May 6th in New Jersey. But as originally scheduled, he is no longer fighting Jonathan Pearce. Instead Mitchell will be facing undefeated Movsar Evloev, according to multiple reports.

Evloev and Mitchell were previously booked to headline UFC Vegas 64 last November, only to be scrapped due to an injury to Evloev. Mitchell was instead re-booked for UFC 282 against Ilia Topuria, where he experienced his first career loss.
