Stay up to date with what’s happening today with the third PFL event of their 2023 regular season. The event airs live on ESPN+ from The Theater at Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas, Nevada. Start time is 7pm Eastern, 4pm Pacific.

The card’s featured matchup will take place in the lightweight division, and will involve 2022 season winner, Olivier Aubin-Mercier, welcoming top free agent acquisition, Shane Burgos, to his new home.

All-action Burgos shockingly departed from the UFC on the heels of back-to-back wins as the hottest free agent at the time. Even Dana White admitted that the UFC dropped the ball on this one. Softballs have never been a part of Shane’s wheelhouse, and his promotion debut will be no exception.

OAM finished out the 2022 season with a brilliant right hook that flattened Stevie Ray in the finals, which brought about a massive $1M payday. Olivier is known for his practical grappling approach, so it was great to see him finish a fight with his strikes. There are plenty of quality fighters in the promotion, but Burgos is probably OAM’s toughest test to date since he left the UFC back in 2019.

There are several other scrappy 155-pounders on the PFL 3 main card. The company’s 2018 AND 2019 lightweight tournament champion, Natan Schulte, will battle it out with the 2022 season runner up, Stevie Ray. Also on the card will be consummate over-producer Clay Collard, who meets the owner of a crazy 14-fight winning streak, Yamato Nishikawa.

The main card is slated for 7:00pm ET, and can be seen on ESPN or ESPN+. Instead of traditional prelims, PFL 3 will be hosting postlim bouts, which begin at 9:30pm ET on ESPN+. We might even get a few darklim bouts here.
