Opening up PFL 3’s postlim portion of their event, Natan Schulte owned Stevie Ray on the ground to take a unanimous nod. Once Schulte got on top, Ray was never able to get back up. Schulte has already won two PFL tourney’s, and now he’s advancing yet again in attempt to be a three-time champ. Oh, he’s also closer to another million-dollar payout!

Natan Schulte vs. Stevie Ray play-by-play breakdown

Schulte was the aggressor right away, walking through the strikes of Ray in order to deliver his own. He then found top position, and dropped plenty of hammers while he maintained control. Ray did not make it back to his feet until the bell sounded.

The grappling was there for Schulte again in the second stanza. He quickly got Ray down to the ground, and then smoothly transitioned to the back. Ray successfully improved his position, but he was still stuck under Natan. Once again, Ray did not make it back to his feet until the bell sounded. Schulte went back to the takedown in the third, and the control continued to be too much for Ray. The fight never hit the feet again, and Schulte went home with a dominant victory. Natan Schulte def.
