The UFC is back with an actually pretty quality card this week. UFC Fight Night Holloway vs Allen has a banger of a main event between Max Holloway and Arnold Allen that could very well rocket the Brit to title contention off a victory. Throw Billy Quarantillo taking a step up against Edson Barboza and a surefire firefight between Pedro Munhoz and Chris Gutierrez in there and it should be a good time all through.
Surprisingly enough for a smaller event, UFC Fight Night Holloway vs Allen has a rock solid prelim card as well. Mostly that’s thanks to a truly wretched booking decision from the UFC, which has a top contender’s bout between Brandon Royval and Matheus Nicolau buried deep in the undercard. Flyweights really do get no love. Bill Algeo vs. TJ Brown should be an action-fight in the ‘featured prelim’ slot as well, and talents like Lando Vannata and the newcomer Gaston Bolanos promise violence.
