Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira’s rivalry has lasted years and crossed over from one combat sport to another. The next, and potentially final, chapter in their story as a duo will be written on Saturday night when they meet in the main event of UFC 287 from the Miami-Dade Arena in Miami, Florida.

Adesanya gets a chance at redemption at UFC 287

Pereira became champion last fall, scoring a fifth-round stoppage to give Adesanya his first loss at middleweight.

Adesanya will not only be fighting to regain his title but also to beat Pereira for the first time. Prior to his MMA career, “The Last Stylebender” suffered two losses to Pereira under kickboxing rules. Pereira, on the other hand, hopes that Saturday is the last time they cross paths.

In the co-main event of the night, Miami’s own Jorge Masvidal will take on Gilbert Burns.

The fight is a tough test for Masvidal, who will be aiming to snap a three-fight skid and score his first victory since 2019.

Burns is a tough opponent for him and is riding the momentum of a first-round submission victory over Neil Magny from January.

Weigh-in Results

A total of 26 fighters are scheduled to appear at UFC 287. Champions, veterans, debutants, and everything in between will be included. But before then, they must hit the scale on Friday morning and make the weight they agreed upon.

The weigh-ins will begin at 9 a.m. ET and last a total of two hours, if needed.

Make sure to keep an eye on this page as the weigh-in results come in. A live stream of the UFC 287 weigh-ins and an updated lineup can be seen below.
