The UFC makes its 16th overall trip to Australia, going ‘down under’ for the first time since UFC 243, which took place in Melbourne, way back in October of 2019. UFC 284, held at the RAC Arena in Perth, delivers two title fights. The main event sees current lightweight champ, Islam Makhachev defending his title against current featherweight champ Alexander Volkanovski. The co-main has ‘The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America’ alum & featherweight winner, No. 3 ranked Yair Rodriguez going after the interim UFC featherweight championship against No. 5 ranked Josh Emmett.
The PPV also has Randy Brown vs. Jack Della Maddalena, Justin Tafa vs. Parker Porter and Jimmy Crute vs. Alonzo Menifield.
