The main event for this fight night will feature some big men, with Curtis Blaydes and Chris Daukaus facing off with a possible heavyweight title shot at sake. The co-main goes down at women’s flyweight with Jojo Wood meeting Alexa Grasso.
This will be an ESPN+ show but will be kicking off a little earlier than usual. The seven-fight preliminary card is scheduled to start at 4pm ET/1pm PT on ESPN+. The six-fight main card is also on ESPN+, and that is supposed to start at 7pm ET/4pm PT. Full odds are available at DraftKings Sportsbook.
Curtis Blaydes vs. Chris Daukaus
Round 1 – Nice right from Daukaus. Another. Jab from Blaydes. Slow pace. Leg kick from Blaydes, and a right that scores. Daukaus swings and misses. They trade. Low kick from Blaydes. More low kicks. Two jabs. Daukaus pressing a bit. Daukaus has a small cut. Blaydes swings and misses. Nice right from Daukaus. Eye poke on Daukaus. They restart quick and go to the horn. 10-9 Blaydes.
Round 2 – Blaydes with a huge right! Daukaus is down! BLAYDES pounds him out! Wow that was a nasty shot!

Alexa Grasso vs. Joanne Wood
Round 1 – Jojo takes the center. Three-punch combo from Grasso. Grasso gets a takedown. Nothing happening. They both land some short shots. Grasso basically just let Jojo get up. Low kick and high kick from Wood. Front kick and a combo from Wood. They trade but don’t really land. Spinning elbow lands for Jojo. Grasso grabs her and takes her down. She gets to the back immediately and sinks a choke! It’s over just like that! Wow!

Matt Brown vs. Bryan Barberena
Round 1 – Low kick from Barberena. Again. Brown with a right. Inside low kick from Barberena. Barberena with a left and then a right. Brown with a footsweep, then they battle on the fence. Brown with a body lock takedown. He’s in side. Barberena gets to his knees, but Brown stays on him. Tiny punches from Barberena to try to create some space, and he does. They reset in the middle. Barberena swings and misses. Brown with a hard right. Hard body kick too. Brown with an elbow. Barberena lands to the body. Head kick from Brown is blocked. Barberena with a nice combo. Brown throws Barberena to the ground. He’s up and they trade inside. Both land elbows. 10-9 Brown.
Round 2 – Barberena with a kick and right. Low kick stops the action but just for a couple of seconds. Hard kick from Brown. Barberena wit a solid right hook. Barberena coming forward. More leg kicks. Brown goes to the body again and gets a takedown against the fence. Brown lands a few punches. Barberena sits up, then gets up. They both land elbows in the clinch. Big exchange. Brown with a counter left. He’s pushing forward now. Barberena with an elbow that wobbles Brown! Big shots but Barberena but Brown takes him down. He’s up high looking for a submission. Barberena takes the top and lands elbows. Brown gets back to his feet. More elbows from both men. Body shot from Barberena. Brown is bloodied up. Big shot from Brown now! Round 3 – They touch up. Brown backs Barberena up and lands a right. Goes to the body too. Barberena counters. Brown now counters. Hard check hook from Bam Bam. Brown throws Barberena to the mat. Barberena up but eats two hard elbows. Brown tries to take him down again. Knees to the body from Brown. Halfway through the final stanza. Barberena bleeding now. He lands a hard left. Body kick from Brown. Brown with two short elbows in the clinch. Barberena with a left. The crowd cheers Brown on and he gets a huge takedown! Barberena is right back up though, and he’s pressuring! Uppercut! Brown clubs him right back! Barberena with a right. Knees from Brown! This is bananas! 45 seconds. They battle on the fence. Both of them wobble the other one with big punches! Barverena with a huge right and Brown is retreating! But the horn blows! WOW THAT WAS AMAZING!!! 10-9 and 29-28 Barberena to me.

Askar Askarov vs. Kai Kara-France
Round 1 – Measured start from both men. Kara-France with a leg kick. Another. Askarov with a right hook. Askarov is cut already. He scoops a single, but KKF defends well. He finally perseveres and gets Kara-France to the floor. Kara-France with a nice upkick but Askarov falls into side. He takes the back and secures a body triangle. Few punches from behind. Kara-France stands up. Human backpack time. Askarov looking for a choke. KKF defends. Askarov goes back to punching, still stuck on his back in a standing position. Side elbows from Askarov. 10-9 Askarov.
Round 2 – Kara-France with a right. Leg kick. Big combo from Kara-France seems to hurt Askarov a bit! Askarov shoots. Elbow from KKF. Kara-France gets him down, at least partially. He’s on the Aback again. KKF spins away and they reset. Leg kick from Kara-France. Inside leg kick from Askarov. Kara-France with a left and a jab. Askarov shoots but Kara-France defends. Big right and a left from Kara-France! Askarov is definitely hurt now! He shoots bus is rebuffed. Huge left from Kara-France! The crowd is really behind him. Askarov weakly shoots again. They trade rights. Inside leg kick from Kara-France. 10-9 Kara-France.
Round 3 – Wow the crowd is loud. Both fighters hype them up. Low kicks from Kara-France. He wings the right. Askarov kicks him low, Cornuts cam confirms, ouch. They reset after a minute or so. High kick from Kara-France. Kara-France throws two wild shots and Askarov ties him up on the fence. The crowd boos. Askarov jumps his back again, standing, with the body triangle. Kara-France dumps him off but Askarov is right back to a single leg attempt. Kara-France escapes again. Inside leg kick from KKF. Askarov with a pawing right. Two minutes to go. Nice right from Kara-France. Uppercut from Askarov. Kara-France lands to the body. Askarov with a counter. Kara-France loads up the right again. Askarov catches him with a counter again. Low kick from Kara-France. Crowd boos as Askarov shoots again. 10-9 and 29-28 Askarov.

Neil Magny vs. Max Griffin
Round 1 – They trade kicks. Inside leg kick from Griffin. Again. Magny fires back with his hands. Griffin with a nice right. Body kick from Magny, and a combo. They both connect. Magny spins and misses. More low kicks from Griffin. Griffin with a counter right that drops Magny! Magny is up pretty quick though. Still only halfway through the round. Body shot from Griffin. Magny with a right cross. Griffin on his bike. He lands to the body and head. They trade rights. Left from Griffin, and a low kick. Jab and low kick from Magny. 10-9 Griffin.
Round 2 – Magny with a nice right. They trade rights. He scores to the body again. Magny bringing pressure. Griffin with a low kick, and now an eye poke. Magny is back to it within a minute. Griffin with a hard left immediately on the restart. Leg kick and a right from Griffin. Hard straight left from Griffin. Jabs and two rights from Magny wobble Griffin. He may have just been off balance. They trade big shots! Right from Magny and he looks for a takedown. They trade rights again on the break. Griffin with a jab. They trade powerful shots yet again. Magny with two big knees to end the round. 10-9 Magny but close.
Round 3 – Magny with a solid strike and he gets back to wrestling. He can’t get Griffin down, but he is sapping Griffin’s energy. He finally drags him down and sinks one hook. He lands some strikes. Magny trying to adjust to get the other hook. Two minutes to go. Magny stands up and bangs away. He keeps a hold of Griffin and has his back. Griffin reverses position and they get up. Magny looking to put it back down. Big strikes down the stretch. Griffin comes right back looking for his own takedown. Magny spikes him right before the horn! 10-9 and 29-28 Magny.

Marc Diakiese vs. Viacheslav Borshchev
Round 1 – Borshchev gets backed up to the cage immediately. Diakiese is trying hard to get the takedown but can’t. They reverse positions a couple of times. Borshchev opens up with punches. Diakiese again looks for a takedown. He finally gets it. Borshchev with an elbow from the bottom. Borshchev gets up but is thrown back to the mat. Back up again. Back down again. He’s in side control. Borshchev gets full guard back. 10-9 Diakiese.
Round 2 – Low kicks from Borshchev. Diakiese telegraphs a shot but still gets a takedown. Into side. Back to full guard. Diakiese takes the back. Back elbows from Borshchev. Diakiese keeps up the pressure. Borshchev tries to roll through but can’t. Knees from Diakiese. Borshchev rolls again. Back up but Diakiese is still all over him. It’s not exciting for it’s effective. 10-9 Diakiese.
Round 3 – Low kicks from Borshchev. Diakiese with the power double and gets the takedown. The crowd is getting restless. He’s stuck in Borshchev’s guard. Borshchev finally gets up. And goes right back down. Another emphatic body lock takedown. Up. Down. Rinse. Repeat. Ten takedowns total. 10-9 and 30-27 Diakiese.
