The undisputed super-middleweight title showdown between unified WBC, WBA, and WBO champion Canelo Alvarez (56-1-2, 38 KOs) and IBF champion Caleb Plant (21-0, 12 KOs) is now good to go for Saturday night in Las Vegas.
Plant weighed in at 167 lbs, exactly a pound under the title fight limit, whereas Alvarez was bang on the nose at 168 lbs. In the interest of playing it safe, there was security to prevent another physical altercation like the one at the press conference several weeks back, which saw Plant suffered a small cut.
