UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping respects Logan Paul as an athlete but there’s no way he sees the YouTuber surviving in the boxing ring against Mike Tyson in their reported boxing match next year.
Bisping believes Paul is biting off more than he can chew and will get ‘absolutely flatlined’ by ‘Iron Mike’ in Feb. 2022.
“Logan, you know, he’s tall, you know, he’s long. He’s kind of a big guy, he’s athletic,” Bisping said of Paul, who fought 50-0 boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a non-scored exhibition bout earlier this year, on his official YouTube channel (h/t Sportskeeda). “He’s got a great physique. Jake Paul is by far the better boxer I would say. If I had to pick who was better then I’d say Jake Paul’s way better but Logan, you know, he has some skills. He can certainly punch and as I say, he’s big and he’s athletic and he’ll learn from the fight against Floyd. Maybe he’ll learn to manage his gas tank a little better. But there’s just no way I don’t see Mike Tyson going out there and absolutely flatlining him”.
Tyson, 55, returned to the boxing ring in Nov. 2020 for an exhibition bout with Roy Jones Jr. in which they both fought to a draw after eight rounds of action at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.
Despite concerns about his age and the fact that he hadn’t fought in fifteen years, Tyson looked to be in phenomenal shape and many pundits actually scored the bout in his favor.
Expect an official fight announcement in the coming weeks.
