Jason Miller has been in jail since being arrested on suspicion of domestic violence in September. That arrest was the latest in a string of incidents that have involved Miller over the past decade.
It is alleged that, prior to being arrested for suspected domestic violence, Miller was involved in a bar fight in San Fernando Valley, CA. Reportedly, Miller is accused of punching someone outside of the bar. That person then went to hospital where it was discovered that they had suffered broken ribs.
When that individual realised the extent of his injuries, he filed a police report against Miller.
According to MMA Fighting a prosecutor has decided to charge Miller with felony assault and felony battery in relation to this incident.
Given Miller’s past offences and his probation status, there is a possibility that the former fighter will receive a lengthy prison status if found guilty on these recent charges.
Prior to this most recent domestic violence arrest, Miller’s last known interaction with the law was in May when he plead guilty to vandalism, in exchange for a charge of felony grand theft being dropped.
In 2019 he plead guilty to felony vandalism and misdemeanour violation of a protective stay-away order. Those charges stemmed from when he punched holes in the walls of his girlfriend’s home in La Habra. He also removed doors from the residence and smashed a large marble table. Miller was sentenced to a year in jail for those charges and three years of probation.
In 2018 Miller was arrested for a probation violation and was discovered to be in possession of a bulletproof vest, various weapons, human growth hormone and other performance enhancing drugs.
In 2017 Miller plead guilty to beating his girlfriend (the same woman whose home he later vandalized). For that he was sentenced to 124 days in jail.
In 2016 Miller was arrested on suspicion of vandalizing a tattoo parlor in Lake Forest. In 2015 he allegedly assaulted a sheriff’s deputy in Mission Viejo. That year he was also arrested in Laguna Beach and charged with simple misdemeanour battery and resisting arrest.
In 2014 Miller live streamed an hours-long standoff with armed police at his home in Mission Viejo. The police were there to arrest Miller on suspicion of domestic violence and stalking. Miller eventually surrendered to police.
In 2013 Miller was arrested twice on suspicion of domestic battery. He was given bail of $100,000. He was later taken into custody for violating a no-contact restraining order.
In 2012 Miller was found naked inside of a church in Mission Viejo. Miller had broken into that building and ransacked it, smashing picture frames and setting off fire extinguishers.
In 2011 Miller was charged with simple assault and false imprisonment after allegedly assaulting his sister at a house party.
