New day, new assault allegations, same old storyline. This week, UFC star Conor McGregor was allegedly caught in another physical altercation with a musician, this time involving Italian DJ Francesco Facchinetti.

According to Facchinetti, McGregor supposedly punched him for no reason while they were hanging out. The DJ apparently suffered a broken nose, and as one of his social media posts showed, a busted lip as well.

This incident happened a mere five weeks after his MTV VMA red carpet scuffle with rapper Machine Gun Kelly. And at the time, UFC president Dana White simply downplayed it as a regular occurrence in the “crazy business” that is the fight game.

As for this recent incident, White is pleading the Fifth.

“We talked about it a little bit today in matchmaking. I don’t know enough about it. I honestly don’t even know enough about it to comment on it,” White said during Tuesday night’s Contender Series post-event scrum. “Obviously, I’ve seen what you guys… you guys have probably seen more than me, actually, to be honest.

“I haven’t talked to Conor. I don’t know what the truth is, I don’t know exactly what happened or… so to comment on it, I really can’t.”

McGregor has so far been radio silent about the alleged incident.
