Death, taxes and McGregor and Diaz beefing online.
After being told his boxing was “piss” a few weeks ago, Nate Diaz got back on the twitter machine and sent his latest volley towards Conor McGregor. This time around Diaz inferred that it was the Irishman’s boxing that was indeed piss.
“My boxing’s piss? I banked on ur face, turned u into a wrestler, and then chocked u b—-,” wrote Diaz, referring to their first contest at 2016’s UFC 196. That message was accompanied by a video of highlights from that fight and the rematch that went down at UFC 202 a few months later (watch out for DMCAs Nate!).
Diaz then told McGregor that the country of Ireland and all of McGregor’s possessions (like sex watches, I presume) belong to him now. “I made that fight and u took the bait, then I made [Jorge Masvidal’s] bitchass. don’t forget I make this whole s— spin.”
After his split series with McGregor in 2016 Diaz went dormant for a few years before returning to face Anthony Pettis at UFC 241 in 2019. He beat ‘Showtime’ by unanimous decision.
A few months after that he fought Masvidal for the novelty BMF belt. He lost that bout by TKO (over a cut). His next bout was in June of this year, where he lost a unanimous decision to Leon Edwards.
