Jake Paul apparently has his next opponent lined up. After weeks spent accusing Tommy Fury of not signing a deal, and potentially missing out on a match-up, it seems that both camps have finally come to an agreement.

TMZ Sports reports that Paul vs. Fury, the younger brother of Tyson Fury, is a done deal.

That outlet states that Fury has agreed to a contract offer from Paul that includes a $500,000 win bonus. However, the contract also stipulates that if Fury loses, he has to legally change his name to “Tommy Fumbles”, a reference to Paul’s claims that Fury was risking “fumbling the bag” by playing hardball during negotiations.

The name change bet may have also been spurred by heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, who recently told reporters that if his younger brother can’t “splatter” Paul he should not only forget about boxing, but also forget about the name Fury.

“Tommy — his name’s Fury,” said Tyson. “If he can’t beat Jake Paul, I’ll have to change his name.”

No date or location for this bout has been revealed.

Paul recently improved his pro boxing record to 4-0 with a split decision win over former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley in August. That win followed a first round TKO over Ben Askren. Prior to fighting former MMA fighters, Paul beat ex-NBA player Nate Robinson and fellow social media influencer AnEsonGib.

Fury, who is most known for his appearance on the UK reality show Love Island, has a 7-0 pro record with four wins by knockout. His last bout was a unanimous decision win over Anthony Taylor, Paul’s primary sparring partner, on the undercard of Paul vs. Woodley.
