Daniel Rodriguez defeated Kevin Lee and earned a top fifteen ranking in the welterweight division, but it may have come at a price. Rodriguez is one of six fighters from UFC Vegas 35 now facing a significant amount of time away from the Octagon following the release of medical suspensions by the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) on Tuesday.

Rodriguez needs a X-ray done on his left hand and if the result is positive, will need clearance from an orthopedic doctor to avoid the six-month suspension he currently faces. The same is true for Gilbert Urbina, Brady Hiestand and three other fighters from the event.
