According to TMZ, while viewers were enjoying the broadcast of Jake Paul vs. Tyron Woodley on Showtime, police in Cleveland, OH were conducting a sweep for bombs inside the fight’s venue—Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.

That outlet, quoting a police incident report, stated that police received a call at 10:15 p.m. on Sunday from a person claiming to be from Afghanistan. The person said they had placed 17 pipe bombs underneath the stage, in bathrooms and underneath seats at the venue.

The caller added that they planted the devices one and a half hours before the event started and that they would detonate within minutes of the call. The caller told police to evacuate the arena.

The caller also said that the bombs were there to target “non-believers”, adding that Jake Paul was a so-called “non-believer.”

A bomb unit was sent to the arena, which was filled with 16,000 fans at the time. That unit, which included bomb sniffing dogs did a sweep of the arena and did not find any explosive devices.

A police spokesperson told TMZ that an investigation into the 911 caller is ongoing and that no arrests have been made at this point.
