A.J. McKee is about to fight for a championship and $1 million in prize money when he meets Patricio ‘Pitbull’ Freire in the finals of the Featherweight Grand Prix at Bellator 263 on Saturday.

It was an exciting journey for the undefeated fighter, who has dominated all of his competition since his arrival to the promotion several years ago. To get a glimpse into said journey, Bellator released a compilation video of the finishes McKee has produced thus far, which included the history-making eight-second knockout of Georgi Karakhanyan and the ’Submission of the Year’ awarded “McKee-otine” of Darrion Caldwell.

All of his performances throughout the Grand Prix were included in the compilation. McKee needed just eight seconds to dispatch of the aforementioned Karakhanyan in the opening round and solidify his spot in the quarterfinals. He then met a tough veteran in Derek Campos, who he ultimately submitted in the third round with an armbar. McKee followed that up with the submission that sent shockwaves around the world against Caldwell, a former champion.

McKee now holds a professional record of 17-0 and plans on extending that with a win over one of the greatest featherweights to compete. Bellator 263 takes place on Saturday, July 31 at the Forum in Inglewood, Calif.
