UFC Vegas 32 medical suspensions: T.J. Dillashaw potentially out for six months

T.J. Dillashaw is facing more time away from the Octagon following his return to competition at last Saturday night’s UFC Vegas 32 event.

The former two-time bantamweight champion earned a split decision win over Cory Sandhagen in the main event of the evening, but that may be the last time we see him this year. Dillashaw sustained some injuries in the fight — a gruesome cut on his eyebrow and multiple tears in his left knee — and they are responsible for the potential six-month suspension he has been given by the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) via mixedmartialarts.com. He needs an MRI scan on his left knee (which he has already done) and is expected to undergo surgery to repair the tears soon.

Dillashaw is joined by Adrian Yanez, who is also facing a potential six-month suspension, after his fight with Randy Costa.

The full list of suspensions can be seen below:

T.J. Dillashaw (left knee and eyebrow laceration): Must have MRI of left knee. Should result of MRI come back positive, clearance from orthopedic doctor is needed or no contest until Jan. 21, 2022. Minimum suspension/no contest until Sept. 8 and no contact until Sept. 24 for eyebrow laceration.

Cory Sandhagen: Suspended until Aug. 24 and no contact until Aug. 15

Raulian Paiva (left eye and nose lacerations): Suspended until Sept. 8 and no contact until Aug. 24

Kyler Phillips: Suspended until Sept. 8 and no contact until Aug. 24

Darren Elkins (forehead laceration): Suspended until Sept. 8 and no contact until Aug. 24

Darrick Minner: Suspended until Aug. 24 and no contact until Aug. 15

Miranda Maverick: Suspended until Aug. 25 and no contact until Aug. 15

Adrian Yanez (nose and nasal bridge laceration): Must have X-ray of nasal bones. Should result of X-ray come back positive, clearance from Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) doctor is needed or no contact until Jan. 21, 2022. Minimum suspension/no contest until Aug. 24 and no contact until Aug. 15 for nasal bridge laceration.

Randy Costa: Suspended until Sept. 8 and no contact until Aug. 24

Punahele Soriano: Suspended until Aug. 24 and no contact until Aug. 15

Ian Heinisch (left eyebrow laceration): Suspended until Sept. 8 and no contact until Aug. 24

Jordan Williams (left eyelid laceration): Suspended until Aug. 24 and no contact until Aug. 15

Julio Arce (right upper cheek laceration): Suspended until Aug. 24 and no contact until Aug. 15

Andre Ewell: Suspended until Aug. 24 and no contact until Aug. 15

Elise Reed: Suspended until Sept. 8 and no contact until Aug. 24

Hannah Goldy (left eye contusion): Suspended until Aug. 24 and no contact until Aug. 15
