This weekend Uriah Hall heads into the main event of UFC Vegas 33 hoping to extend his current win streak to five contests. Hoping to stop him will be Sean Strickland, who is also hoping to go 5-0 in his last five fights.

But before those two throwdown in the UFC APEX, you can see what happened when Hall came up against one of his idols, former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva. That fight, in its entirety, is presented below:

The pair met in the main event of UFC Vegas 12 on October 31, 2020. Though it wasn’t confirmed until after this one, the feeling was that this fight would be ‘The Spider’’s final bout in the UFC.

The bout went four rounds until it ended in a TKO win for Hall. Though Silva had some moments throughout the fight where he showed glimpses of the striking expertise that made him one of the greatest fighters of all time, Halls’ comparative youth and power proved too much. The former Ultimate Fighter runner-up was able to drop Silva on two occasions, the second of those leading to the fight being waved off.

After it was done, there were emotional scenes inside the Octagon with Hall seemingly distressed by defeating one of his heroes.

Silva would indeed leave the UFC shortly after this fight, with a legacy intact (and a boatload of records) despite the losses that piled up in the last few years of his tenure in the promotion.

Silva has since beaten Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in the boxing ring and now could be set to face YouTuber Logan Paul. Silva also has a pair of sons that seem set to carry on the Silva legacy inside the fighting arena.

After beating Silva, Hall went on to face Chris Weidman at UFC 261 in April. That fight ended in a TKO win for Hall after the horrific leg injury suffered by Weidman off of a checked leg kick.
