As is so often the case, the first card following a big UFC PPV tends to feel a bit like leftovers. This time around, the UFC isn’t wholeheartedly to blame (Max Holloway vs. Yair Rodriguez was a legit hot fight). But, Islam Makhachev vs. Thiago Mosies just doesn’t have a lot of sizzle to it, and not much further down the card enhances that feeling. Still, it’s got Miesha Tate’s comeback after a half-decade of retirement and Jeremy Stephens’ retrun to lightweight. That’s something.
