There was a time when Greg Hardy seemed perfect in Dana White’s eyes. Even after the former NFL defensive end lost to Marcin Tybura via TKO last December, the boss still thought he looked damn good.

That all changed after “The Prince of War” was knocked out by Tai Tuivasa in the first round of their UFC 264 main card bout. Now, the UFC president is feeling uncertain about the future of his heavyweight prospect.

“Tonight was a big night for him. Tonight was a really big night,” White told reporters during the post-fight presser. “Tai Tuivasa would’ve been a real win for him. So I don’t know what this means for him tonight.”

But if you ask Hardy, Saturday night was caused by “rookie mistakes” that can be corrected.

Talk n shit all 2021. It’s mevsme I have to stop making rookie mistakes. There is not F N excuse for that Ish but my real ones know you can’t kill the kraken and you for damn sure can’t kill the prince.

So bring it. I’ll be back. Thank you to the @ufc and good shit by @bambamtuivasa all respect and great win.

As for Tuivasa, the shoey king is now on a three-fight win streak, all by first-round KO. He also bagged an extra $75K for Performance of the Night.
