In an unexpected turn of events at UFC 264, Dustin Poirier emerged victorious once again against Conor McGregor in their trilogy bout, but in rather unusual fashion. In the closing seconds of a successful first round for the ‘Diamond’, the former double champion twisted and hurt his ankle, rendering him unable to continue and losing by TKO.
