The last few days leading up to UFC 264 saw Conor McGregor turn the gamesmanship up to 11. This time, “The Notorious” dragged Dustin Poirier’s wife Jolie into his antics, first sharing a supposed screenshot of a DM request. He continued to play with this angle after their press conference on Thursday with this tweet.

And even after his anticlimactic doctor stoppage loss on Saturday, the Irishman pushed further with his remarks about Mrs. Poirier.

“Your wife was in me DMs! Hey, baby! Hit me back and we’ll tag you later on!” McGregor told Joe Rogan during the Octagon interview as he sat on the canvas with a potentially fractured tibia.

McGregor usually got away with his words with no issue. But this time, his brand of trash talking didn’t sit well with UFC president Dana White. Here’s what the boss told reporters during the post-fight presser.

“Yeah, I don’t like that. Yeah, that’s not good. Leave people’s family and wives and all that stuff out of it. Family has nothing to do with it.”

This isn’t the first time McGregor dragged someone’s spouse into his antics. Two years ago, he played tweet-and-delete with this remark towards Khabib Nurmagomedov’s wife.

McGregor is now on a two-fight skid as he drops to a record of 22-6. White says there will likely be a part four with Poirier because “you can’t have a fight finish that way.”
