If you’ve been following this sport long enough, you likely have no hate towards ‘The Korean Zombie’ Chan-Sung Jung. The man has a pleasing personality despite the language barrier, but more importantly, he’s never been in a boring fight.

Yet, despite being a generally beloved figure in MMA, Zombie says he’s still getting his fair share of haters.

“I just don’t understand. I realized no matter how hard I fight, there will always be people that continue to hate,” he said in a recent YouTube video. “It doesn’t matter what I do. Win or lose, there are always going to be haters.

“It doesn’t really matter who’s fighting who, but everyone loves a winner. And if there is a winner, that must mean that there is someone who lost as well. I am amazed by everyone in the UFC, but not everyone might see it the way I do.

“Yes, winning is a big deal, but it would mean a lot if you could support the fighters who did not get a chance to win.”

Zombie says his focus and hard work will now be directed towards his fans and true supporters. As for his haters…

“I’m no longer going to work hard for them since they’ll never change their opinions about me. But instead, I’m going to continue to work hard for the people who actually support me.”

The 34-year-old veteran is coming off a decision win over Dan Ige two weeks ago, a performance from which he also received his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt.
