Floyd Mayweather’s uncle Jeff Mayweather believes Floyd couldn’t KO Logan Paul in their exhibition boxing match last month because the latter was simply ‘too big’.

Many fans believe Mayweather carried Paul into the later rounds but, according to Floyd’s uncle, the undefeated boxing legend tried to KO Paul with everything he had.

“I think he wanted to knock him out, of course, but he couldn’t,” Jeff said during a recent appearance on The Champ and The Chump podcast (h/t The Mac Life). “The guy was too big. He did so much holding and you know was strong enough to take those shots, and as soon as he got hit, he locked up. So that made the fight a little ugly.

“I still think if Floyd was younger, he woulda knocked him out.”

Although no winner was declared Paul, who weighed at least 30 pounds heavier than Floyd, is treating the exhibition as a victory because he went the full eight rounds with one of the greatest boxers of all time. His younger brother Jake, who is arguably the better boxer, is preparing to fight former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley at a Showtime Sports event on August 28 at a TBA venue in Miami, Florida.
