The only thing that’s news coming out of UFC Vegas 29 is that the event has caused the least rankings movement since I quit the panel a couple of years ago. The event offered some action and the main event between The Korean Zombie and Dan Ige was awesome. But the ho-hum co-main between Aleksei Oleinik and Serghei Spivac, despite it’s boringness, is the only think thing that rippled rankings-wise, other than Marlon Vera.
Here’s a look at his week’s (brief) changes.
Men’s P4P – No changes.
Heavyweight – Tom Aspinall is up one to 12, bumping Blagoy Ivanov to 13. Spivac enters at 14 (twice, oddly) and is tied with Sergei Pavlovich. Oleinik drops out.
Light Heavyweight – No changes.
Middleweight – No changes.
Welterweight – No changes.
Lightweight – No changes.
Featherweight – No changes.
Bantamweight – Vera’s up two after taking out a game Davey Grant. For some reason he switches spots at 15 with Cody Stamann.
Flyweight – No changes.
Women’s P4P – No changes.
Women’s Bantamweight – No changes.
Women’s Flyweight – No changes.
Women’s Strawweight – No changes.
