Giga Chikadze has been spectacular in his UFC career, and he wants a major step-up in competition.

The Georgian kickboxing standout recently went on Twitter to call for a fight against #5 ranked Calvin Kattar.

Chikadze (13-2) is a perfect 6-0 in the UFC and most recently picked up his biggest win to date, stopping Cub Swanson with a liver kick and punches just 63 seconds into their UFC Vegas 25 co-main event. For perspective, Swanson’s only other loss via strikes came way back in 2009 when he was flying kneed by Jose Aldo.

Kattar (22-5) has been one of the top names at 145 lbs over the past couple of years. After wins over Jeremy Stephens and Dan Ige, ‘The Boston Finisher’ got a main event spot against former champion Max Holloway, and while Kattar showcased an insane level of toughness and heart, he absorbed a record-setting 445 significant strikes on his way to a decision loss.

There’s obviously no guarantee this fight happens but there’s no doubt that Chikadze has earned a more significant matchup against one of the elites of the division.
