There’s been a late scratch from the UFC Vegas 27 card.

A lightweight bout between Yancy Medeiros and Damir Hadzovic has been pulled from Saturday’s lineup. The UFC cited undisclosed health issues and that the fight will be rescheduled as soon as possible.

Medeiros (15-7, 1 NC) was entering the final fight of his contract in hopes of ending his three-fight losing streak. The Hawaiian was stopped by Donald Cerrone and Gregor Gillespie, then most recently lost a decision to Lando Vannata.

Hadzovic (13-6) is on a two-fight skid after defeats to Christos Giagos and Renato Moicano. The Bosnian’s last win was a TKO of Marco Polo Reyes back in February 2019, and it looks like his wait to get back on the right track will be a bit longer.

UFC Vegas 27 will have 12 fights (six prelims, six main card), starting at 4 PM ET/1 PM PT on ESPN+. Former bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt takes on rising contender Rob Font in the main event.
