UFC 262 marked the return of Tony Ferguson against Beneil Dariush. The former interim champion was coming off two bad losses and was trying to right the ship, but it was just more of the same. Ferguson was absolutely dominated everywhere, and his days as a top fighter is probably over.
Ferguson showed toughness as always, but he probably injured his knee from defending that heel hook too.

Tony Ferguson vs. Beneil Dariush, Round 3
Ferg sold it going to the corner, but his leg is shot. Dariush just goes with pressure. They flipped right over as Benny took him down! They’re in a weird north-south. Dariush is being methodical and not letting him up. Ferguson is using the cage to try to get up. The crowd wants blood but Benny has him exactly where he wants him. Dariush passes to side. He wants the finish, and Tony is looking from the bottom D’Arce. He just pops out like it wasn’t even a thing. He maintains top position on Ferguson. Things didn’t really change. 10-9 and 30-27 Dariush.
Beneil Dariush defeated Tony Ferguson via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)
