We’re now officially in a new post-Khabib era after UFC 262 finally crowned a champion at 155 lbs.. Charles Oliveira took on Michael Chandler in the main event, and the belt is now owned by ‘Do Bronx’ after an insane back and forth contest.

Oliveira survived a first round knockdown to score a TKO in the second.

Charles Oliveira vs. Michael Chandler, round 1

Chandler takes the center. Oliveira with a low kick that trips up Chandler but he’s up immediately. Nice exchange, and Chandler cracks him with a left hook! Oliveira dives in on a takedown and gets stuck in a deep guillotine! Oliveira looks like big trouble but pops his head out and takes the back. Full back mount from Do Bronx! He looks for a choke but Chandler fights him off! They get back up and Chandler cracks him and puts Oliveira down! He’s all over him! Oliveira survives though! The ref lets them go and Chandler bombs away but they go to the bell! That’s one of the best rounds I’ve ever seen, I am not doing this justice! WATCH THIS! 10-9 Chandler.

Oliveira comes right out and hurts Chandler with punches! He’s down! Oliveira is all over him and he’s the new lightweight champion! He was dead to rights 90 seconds before this!! That was one of the best fights I’ve ever seen.
