The UFC is back in Texas for the first time since before the pandemic with their UFC 262 PPV event. They’ll be at Toyota Center in Houston on Saturday, May 15th with a packed house expected. In the main event, Charles Oliveira and Michael Chandler vie for the lightweight title vacated by the retired Khabib Nurmagomedov. The co-main pits former interim lightweight champ Tony Ferguson against Beneil Dariush.

Unfortunately we lost both Nate Diaz vs. Leon Edwards and Edmen Shahbazyan vs. Jack Hermansson from this main card, but it’s still nevertheless a quality lineup. I’m personally most looking forward to Edson Barboza vs. Shane Burgos on the main card, plus Rogerio Bontorin vs. Matt Schnell on the prelims. Katlyn Chookagian vs. Viviane Araujo is the other main card matchup and that’s a biggie for women’s flyweight.

There will be a fight bumped from the prelims to the main card due to the recent postponements, but as of this writing we don’t know what has been moved up. IN the meantime here’s what UFC 262 looks like:

Main Card (10 PM ET, ESPN+ PPV)

Charles Oliveira vs. Michael Chandler

Tony Ferguson vs. Beneil Dariush

Katlyn Chookagian vs. Viviane Araujo

Edson Barboza vs. Shane Burgos

Preliminary Card (8 PM ET, ESPN)

Jacare Souza vs. Andre Muniz

Rogerio Bontorin vs. Matt Schnell

Lando Vannata vs. Mike Grundy

Andrea Lee vs. Antonina Shevchenko

Preliminary Card (6:15 PM ET. ESPN+)

Jordan Wright vs. Jamie Pickett

Gina Mazany vs. Priscila Cachoeira

Kevin Aguilar vs. Tucker Lutz

Christos Giagos vs. Sean Soriano
