Bloody Elbow 2.0 | Anton Tabuena

The UFC Vegas 24 main event was the setting where the UFC’s former 185-pound champion, Robert Whittaker, styled on Kelvin Gastelum in a dominant five round decision. Whittaker was doing his thing, being surgical with his counters and masterfully setting up his head kicks. He rocked Gastelum on a couple of occasions with that head kick, and also scored some what seemed like effortless takedowns. It wasn’t a lack of effort that had Gastelum playing catch up the whole time. He was pressing forward and throwing his hands, doing his best to win, but Whittaker was simply too good. The former champ was just better everywhere, and is one of the very best fighters in MMA.
