I always say that the road to the UFC’s middleweight title for ranked fighters should involve a trip through Derek Brunson. The promotion’s #10 rated Kevin Holland will be attempting that move in the main event this Saturday, March 20, at UFC Vegas 22.

Bloody Elbow is here to hook you up with the betting lines for this clash of top-ten 185-pounders, and for the rest of this card’s roster.

The oddsmakers have sided with the surging Holland here, expecting him to get the win over the hot-handed Brunson. With a straight up moneyline of -157, a $100 wager on “Trailblazer” could see a total return of $163.69. That leaves Derek in a familiar role. He’s rarely ever a chalk favorite, and is often on the plus side of pick’em odds. Here Brunson is being offered up at a dog line yet again, this time at +150, with a winning $100 bet on the perennially ranked middleweight grossing $250.

The over/under for this five-round main event has been set at 2.5 rounds, with both the ‘Over 2.5’ and ‘Under 2.5’ propositions clocking in at around -110 a piece. The bookies are also banking on this fight to end inside of the distance. I mean, after back to back UFC main events ended with unfortunate fouls, who can really blame them? Oh, and both fighters are uniquely deadly in their own ways, too. The prop bet ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ carries a strongly favored price tag of -225, with a +175 comeback on the ‘Fight goes to decision’ option.
